The Transport for NSW website is still (20 May 2013) shamelessly claiming that its light rail plan "was developed in close consultation with .... local communities".
This is completely untrue, as Lucy Marks makes clear in her refreshingly accurate article.

As a long-term resident of Surry Hills I was aghast to discover (via a press release from the NSW Premier in December 2012) that enormous train-size express trams would soon be running through the shattered remnants of our streets and parks at (according to the State Government) intervals of every two minutes or so.

If Transport for NSW is determined to build this SE Light Rail system, and refuses to reinstate the "old" overground tram route along Oxford and Flinders Streets, the new line should be connected to Central Station via a tunnel.

Devonshire Street is a narrow commercial and residential street which rises steeply from the southern extremities of Central to Crown Street, and than heads downhill to end at Wimbo Park. A shallow tunnel under Foveaux Street would provide a shorter and more efficient linkage from Central to the SCG and to the existing tram reservation which runs along Anzac Parade towards Randwick and the UNSW.

Hi Gabby, As a pilot my self, I obtained your video by accident and after watching it several times, I could only admire your achievement not as a female but as an aviator, aren't we lucky an aeroplane can not tell the difference between females and males.

I can only dream of such a feat the challenges you faced would of been to say the least very testing. Whilst the world is big, thank God Australia is also a large continent, and most my flying has been local.

Any how I just thought I would say hello and hopefully we may meet up?

Cheers

I don't exactly call it a diet pill, but a metabolism booster. What paved the way to my 20kg weight loss in 4 months is Prescopodene and Clear Cleanse Pro. I had to lose weight for health reasons, my bloodline included hypertension, diabetes and heart problems. It slapped me in the face when I had my bloodwork and everything was off to the ceiling. I still want to see my kids grow, and I thank presocpodene and clear cleanse pro for bringing me closer to my ideal weight.

Having just finished "The Orange Trees of Baghdad" I would like to know what happened to Leilah's family. Six years have passed since the book was written. I would like to think that in the intervening years their quality of life has improved and that that the people who were still alive at the end of the book are still alive now.

Just to shre some insights, diet pills aren't made to serve as a quick fix for weight loss. Liproxenol is very famous from where I come from. My wife uses it too. However, I kind of like Prescopodene more since I have been losing weight in it. Works even better when I couple it with exercise.

It is a pity that there has been so much disunity at a time when it should be all energy to implement good policy energy to deliver that information to the people and lastly to ensure that we are not burdened with an out of date neo Liberal Country party lead by Mr Abbott and this current front bench.

A most informative and insightful article, my commendations. The aforementioned revelations in technology have had an imperative impact on mental illness, and remains the hallmark of support and assistance in this era. Indeed, I have on occasion heard social media outlets and forum based technologies to be comparable to, if not, better than therapy.
