Indigenous issues not on the agenda
In the last Australian federal election, Indigenous issues were at the top of the agenda. However this year, indigenous voters feel the issues have been barely covered. Jessica Tapp reports.

The Rudd Labor government promised to apologize to the Stolen Generation and take Indigenous issues seriously.
However, this year, similar promises from any of the major parties have been scant.
The Labor stronghold of Chifley is located west of Sydney and includes suburbs such as Mount Druitt, Bidwell, Blacktown and Dharruk which have large Indigenous communities.
Locals say they’re disappointed with the lack of Indigenous policies from the major parties and say their area needs major changes to education, transport and infrastructure.
