Australia may have avoided the worst of the financial crisis, but the effects of the economic downturn are still trickling through. Andrew Mackinnon speaks with two individuals from seemingly two different worlds about the Glogabl Financial Crisis.
In eight years we’ve gone from WMD to GFC. And unlike the wild goose chase for weapons of mass destruction, the global financial crisis is evidently the real deal. Two individuals from seemingly two different worlds: Dave, a vendor for The Big Issue and Peter, a financier at the Australian Stock Exchange, share their thoughts and ideas on the GFC and the role money plays within society. Surprisingly their worlds aren’t as far apart as you might think.
